Hey PI-Fans,

The port CNY backlogs are beginning to ease and several pallets of stuff are beginning to slip through the cracks.

While this week’s slab of stuff touching down is primarily restocks, there’s still a couple of titles that are worth bringing to your attention, specifically The Silk Road expansion for the 2nd edition of Splendor as well as the brand new Supernatural Adventures set for Unlock!

Meanwhile, drifting in aboard the tide are reloads of titles like Azul Chocolatier, Azul Mini, Pandemic Legacy, The Crew and HEAT for the discerning gaming looking for a bit more depth in their gaming, while the battered party-game shelf is awash with reloads of sought after titles like Poetry for Neanderthals, I’m a Little Crabby and the delightfully named Let’s Hit Each Other With Fake Swords! Also making it back onto the shelves for our ever popular Dungeon Crawler range are titles like Tiny Epic Dungeon, Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion and Gloomhaven: Buttons and Bugs.

There’s a lot more on the way (I did say Pallets), so as I work my through piles upon piles of cardboard, we’ll keep you updated as new stuff drifts in.

Unlock! Supernatural Adventures includes three separate scenarios for you to explore:

  • Nova City under Threat – Fight crime and injustice as part of a team of superheroes. Will you be able to get to the bottom of the threats looming over Nova City?
  • Dia de Los Muertos – Once a year, the worlds of the dead and the living collide, giving you an opportunity to recover your family’s missing talisman!
  • Ragnarök – You are Lif, a proud Viking warrior. Venture into new lands to gain glory and honor.

Unlock! is a cooperative card game inspired by escape rooms that uses a simple system which allows you to search scenes, combine objects, and solve riddles. Play Unlock! to embark on great adventures, while seated at a table using only cards and a companion app that can provide clues, check codes, monitor time remaining, etc.

 

Travel the Cities of the Silk Road and rise to new challenges!

Splendor – The Silk Road contains two modules to flavor your Splendor game, from “cities of splendor”, with minor adjustments. Dominate trade within the cities and discover new victory conditions for each game. Create trading posts and leverage their unique powers to maximize your prestige.

Dominate Trade within the Cities and discover new victory conditions for each game. The Cities replaces the noble tiles with 3 different city tiles (randomly taken from a pool of 14). The city tiles are objectives (in prestige points and/or development cards) and you need to fulfill one of them in order to win.

Create Trading Posts and leverage their unique powers to maximize your prestige. The Trading Posts are special bonuses you earn by acquiring an array of development cards: more prestige points from the 1st noble tile you receive, an extra token when you choose the “Take 2 gem tokens of the same color” action, and so on.
