A Smorgasbord Of New – 21/10/24

Hey PI-Fans, Although it's been mostly invisible changes from the retail end, behind the scenes, overseeing the warehouse move to a large space has been a rough few weeks. The retail team's done an amazing job covering while I disappeared into the morass that was the warehouse.  On the other hand, things never cease in the gaming sphere as stock continues to flow into the store even if I've been too inundated to make noise about it. The Euro-style city-builder Kutná Hora: The City of Silver and the Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar – Tribes & Prophecies Expansion will happily slot into the library of any gamer. People seeking lighter fare can consider the Dobble DC Comics edition or expand their copy of 5 Minute Dungeon with the 5-Minute Dungeon: Curses! Foiled Again! expansion. New Year Gaming Party

Hey PI-Fans, Happy New Year and here's to a Great 2023. The Holiday period's always a cram period for Retail, but we've finally had a breather to reload the store with a pile of goodies. While the Christmas season might be over with the arrival of the New Year, we've got in a stack of new party friendly titles perfect for time with friends and family over the upcoming Lunar New Year gatherings with Level 20,  Soda Smugglers and Red Flags now gracing our shelves. On top of that, RPG fans are also catered to with this restock and we've reloaded our WizKids Preprimed Miniatures range as well as shelf load of Pathfinder 2nd Edition RPG books. Random Roleplaying Restocks

Hey PI-Fans, Just a minor heads up that a small carton has drifted into the store, containing a smattering of esoterica. The anime themed Tabletop Roleplaying Games for both Konosuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World and Goblin Slayer are back on our shelves, though we have no idea how long that will last for. In addition, we've acquired a small supply of Hero Kids, a family friendly Role Playing Game system designed for parents to share the joys of roleplaying with their young ones. The Hero Kids system, of course, is also the preferred system of choice for the upcoming Young Minds, Steel Hearts: Designing and Running an RPG Session for Kids workshop to be conducted by Swords & Stationery at Games @ PI on Sun, 13 November 2022. Hey PI-Fans, You've known us long enough to know we're fans of weird RPGs. On the other hand, sometimes you just need to return to the classic and let's be honest here - they're the classics for a reason. While there's a big Dungeons & Dragons film announced as being in-the-works, we're believers that while Hollywood CGI is fun and all, there aren't many things that can match the personal imagination of the original. We're still waiting for our shipment of Spelljammer books and restocks to arrive from the local distributor, but in the meantime, we figured it'd be nice to have all the D&D books in one place. Goblin Slayer – Coming Full Circle

Hey PI-fans, How's your day going? We've got these brand New Releases fresh from the warehouse: The Coldest Night, Chronicles of Crime: 1400 and Dragonland!  Let's check 'em out!   The Coldest Night It only takes a spark, to get a fire burning. But in this case, you and your friends HAVE to get the fire burning, else you will all freeze to death. Throw Kindling cards to the fire to keep it going but sometimes you don't always have the best cards to burn, literally. You also can't tell others the exact value of your Kindling cards but you can say 'I need the fire to be hotter'.
